Recently
Microsoft released an article that free software, or software released under the
GNU GPL was against the American Way. Of course this is ridiculous, however it is nice to see that Richard Stallman (one of the biggest voices of open source software) stood up with a rebuttle to the foo by Microsoft. Stallman's article can be read
here. If you haven't heard what Stallman says about Free Software and Open Source Software, this is a good article that will break you into start hating Microsoft as much as the next guy.
