It seems that AMD has pushed back some of its processors lines. AMD was suppose to release the Palmino processor in the 4 quarter of December but is to announce on today that it is pushing the...... date back on its Palomino line of processors until the 2nd quarter. The Palomino will be introduced for workstation and dual processors with added cache for servers using the 760MP chipset. A security hole with Ameritech's E-bill online bill payment system was discovered today by Tap Internet, a web services firm in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Basically the hole allows other users to alter the url and possibly pull up other records of other users. "By simplying modifying the "stmt" portion of the web address, a user can view statement records for other customers. Toshiba on Monday launched a new Linux-based, special-purpose server that it hopes will attract business customers and home networking enthusiasts. The SG10 has seven ports to connect PCs and another to connect to a broadband Internet connection. It can house a Web page and host e-mail, and with an upgrade can serve as the hub of 802.11b or Bluetooth wireless networks.
