*Words of Wisdom From The Elder

There was an article posted to Yahoo.Com about tech companies offering employees gizmos, gagdets, and other awards to retain them in the company instead of cash bonuses and stock options. What ever happened to just getting up, going to work, and just collecting a paycheck on Friday. Has our society stooped to the point to where people have to even rewarded for doing what they were paid to do in the first place? Don’t get me wrong, I am all for companies rewarding employees who make a real contribution to the team but all of this getting something for nothing has to stop. No wonder all of the dot coms are going out of business!
