I spent the better part of today trying to get Evolution, the up and coming contact manager/email client for Linux, to work with my Palm as well as test its contact manager skills. Does it work? Almost. Could it be better? Yes.

It looks like the Opera browser version 5.0 is going to released for Linux next week. A public beta has been available for sometime but Opera seems to think it is ready for prime time and the $39.00 price tag that goes along with it. If you wish to try on a copy you can grab it here.
