*Words of Wisdom From The Elder

Talk about a turn of events. Just when you thought 3DFX was about to make a come back with their new release of the Voodoo 5000 we get hit with news like this. Today 3dfx announced a move to be purchased and absorbed by nVidia. All I want is a 100% compatible Linux video card that is 100% supported for gaming. I really don’t care who makes it as long as it works. Hopefully something good will come out of it but we will not know for another few months.

If you haven’t heard about the new multimedia system from Indrema then that isn’t a suprise to us. Indrema’s new system will do just about anything you can think of and will replace about 4-6 other devices. Get on over now and check this thing out. It is going to be big, hot, huge, and oh did we mention is is runing linux?

A few people wrote in and said on a few browsers they couldn’t load the Quake stats. I fixed it and they look a lot better now as well.

I figured that I would help everyone out this year in their Christmas shopping and put up my own Christmas Wish List. You may remember my post of the Claw a little while back, but this is an all effort to get everything that I want this year for Christmas.

5. Visor Modules – Help me upgrade my favorite toy, i’ll take any of them, trust me you can’t go wrong with one of these

I don’t browse the TV channels to much however in my stumbling around the set tonight I came across my new favorite TV Channel called Tech TV. If you have already heard of it then pardon me for being behind the times. It seems to be run by ZDNET (which runs everything else in tech land nowadays). If you haven’t checked it out, try and tune in, if you are in A2 then I think hit channel 67 and stay up on the latest in Geek news.
