I am writing this post as I am watching American Idol tonight. I am happy I am typing right now because I sure couldn’t speak because my jaw is on the bottom of the floor. I don’t know what is going on to be honest. The only thing I can think of is that this has turned into a popularity contest instead of a talent contest. WTF is going on with the voting. I wish they would disclose the freaking numbers. I’m going to say that something is going to come out later on that this is a scandal or something. Latoya will come back into the music scene I have no doubt. If someone doesn’t pick her up they are just crazy. Latoya, I’m sad to see you go, but I know you’ll be back.

Yesterday we drove off the lot with a brand new Hyundai Sonata LX with 57 miles on it. It is always fun to get a new and this is our second new car (after my Jeep). My wife will be the primary driver of this one. Which means I will get my Jeep back! Yeah. I’ll walk you through the other cars we looked at and what features it has real quick.

I’ve been extremely busy lately and have been wanting to make needed changes to the site. However, clients are demanding projects get done, students want their tests graded and my dog wants to go outside to use the bathroom. Everything seems to just pile up and pile up doesn’t it? Well, I’ve been away for sometime so let me get you caught up on what is going on.

It is the end of the first quarter of Super Bowl 36 and I already see a really really really stupid move on a company’s part called mlife.com (don’t worry clicking on it right now becasue their site is down). First off they don’t tell anyone who or what their company does, they just say go to our web site. Well I did and I can’t get there. Maybe you should have thought about 1 million people hitting your web site at the same time. Evidently whoever is running their advertising and marketing didn’t attend all of their classes because even pulling up the Google Cache of their site I still don’t know what they do.
Funniest commercial(s) so far go to Budweiser. The battle bot commercial is by far the funniest and the most touching is the one where the Clydesdale horses pay their respects to the World Trade Center in NY. More later.
ps – mlife.com is running Solaris with Netscape-Enterprise if you are curious
Update – I just found some stuff on mlife.com, read on…

If you would like to hear my wife playing the piano during this tribute, you can listen to her version of Amazing Grace from her web stie. It seems the Univ. Of Mich music students are using their talents to raise money for the disaster that struck our nation last week. If you are in the Ann Arbor, MI area, you will definitely want to be on hand for this concert event. Come and listen to up and coming stars share their musical talents while also supporting the relief effort.
“ On Thursday, September 20, at 8:00 p.m. there will be a benefit concert held in the School of Music Britton Recital Hall in Ann Arbor, MI. This concert is given by the University of Michigan School of Music students, in association with the student chapter of the Music Teacher’s National Association.”
