“I know I haven’t posted in awhile. What can I say, it is the summer and things are busy. I’ve been working on my T-maxx Nitro Truck and recently picked up a really nice roll cage for it. I got the roll cage off of Ebay from a company called VGRacing.Com.
Above is a picture of it. It is hard to tell how it mounts onto it but you take the bumper off the front and the back and it fits into the grooves that are already there. It takes about 5 minutes to install it. I took a jump where I jumped all the way across a road and it landed on the back. It was a hard hit and the only thing that took any damage was the plastic cover.”

I picked up a new toy this weekend called the “HipTop” produced by Danger, Inc.. It is the coolest device I have ever owned in terms of a PDA, phone combo. The HipTop is an always on device, the first one of its kind. The bottom line is that I can surf a web page, check email and get instant messages through AIM anytime I want when I am away from the computer.
I was fortunate enough this Christmas season to be given an extremely cool geek gift, a Tivo. I figured I would play with it for a week or so before posting something to the site about it. If you have no idea what a ‘Tivo’ is, then read on, hopefully I will do a fair job in explaining how this electronic device will change the way you watch TV.

There is a new way to travel as of today. Inventory Dean Kamen has created a personal travel device designed for a single rider. It can travel at 12 miles per hour and doesn’t even have breaks. There are links all over the place if you happen to miss this, here are a couple:

Sorry for not posting much news lately (nobody has sent me any). I have also been real busy with a couple of new sites I have launched, RipleyHigh.Com (for my alma mater), and working on PHP training material.
In the process of all of this I manage to have time to get a new vehicle, a Jeep Liberty. Read more for the details. 
The Liberty is a new SUV which Jeep came out with a few weeks ago. I have been looking at SUV’s for about 3 months now trying to find the best fit for Ellen and I. I have test drove just about all of them and the minute I set foot in the Liberty, I knew it was the winner. Here is more info on Yahoo about the vehicle.
