Goodnight, Seattle…

Posted by Keith Elder | Posted in General | Posted on 14-05-2004

fraiserTonight is the last episode of Frasier. This is a really depressing end to a TV season since Friends and Frasier are both signing off for the last time. For the past 11 years, Frasier has been in our living rooms at least once a week. The show has won numerous awards as best comedy and there never seems to be a dull moment. Unless you grew up in the 80’s you probably do not remember Cheers, although, you may have seen the re-runs. The character Frasier got his start on Cheers sitting at the bar with Norm. After Cheers ended, Frasier was spun off.

American Idol down to three, and America is fscking stupid

Posted by Keith Elder | Posted in General | Posted on 13-05-2004

I am writing this post as I am watching American Idol tonight. I am happy I am typing right now because I sure couldn’t speak because my jaw is on the bottom of the floor. I don’t know what is going on to be honest. The only thing I can think of is that this has turned into a popularity contest instead of a talent contest. WTF is going on with the voting. I wish they would disclose the freaking numbers. I’m going to say that something is going to come out later on that this is a scandal or something. Latoya will come back into the music scene I have no doubt. If someone doesn’t pick her up they are just crazy. Latoya, I’m sad to see you go, but I know you’ll be back.

Ok, so here is the deal. What if I told you you could cut your $100 or $200 phone bill to $39.00 a month, AND you can have a second phone line for a dedicated fax machine, AND you can have 1500 minutes of long distance? Interested? Read more!

Hyundai Sonata LX

Posted by Keith Elder | Posted in General | Posted on 30-07-2003

Yesterday we drove off the lot with a brand new Hyundai Sonata LX with 57 miles on it. It is always fun to get a new and this is our second new car (after my Jeep). My wife will be the primary driver of this one. Which means I will get my Jeep back! Yeah. I’ll walk you through the other cars we looked at and what features it has real quick.

LogiCreate Application Server Open Sourced

Posted by Keith Elder | Posted in Open Source, PHP, Programming | Posted on 07-06-2003

The LogiCreate Applicaton Server built with PHP was released as open source on June 5th, 2003. LogiCreate is a framework to build portals, CMS, CRM or custom web applications. It is extremely fast to start developing applications with, very little code for the developer to start writing and is extremely different from pretty much anything else out there right now. You can download the PDF presentation on the LogiCreate site as well as register on the site to download the system. We’ve been using it for several years now and will start offering hosting accounts pre-packaged with it soon.
