I feel sorry for people that sell and buy on Ebay that do not have a working knowledge of the Internet in order to spot a scam. Luckily for this one person, they pulled one of the best documented pranks ever on a scammer on Ebay. It is completely documented with details of what happened. I always find myself defending my decision to purchase an Apple laptop when visiting friends or clients. Not that I care that I am light years ahead of them or anything, but I always find myself saying the same thing. After I connect to their network, access the internet and print to their windows printers they all start to say, “… hmmm OS X is pretty slick”. That is usually followed up with “… but they are expensive and I couldn’t afford one”. I usually explain that Apple doesn’t make “cheap” computers and if you compare apples to apples (no pun intended) they are about the same. I’ve been extremely busy lately and have been wanting to make needed changes to the site. Selling my Ultimate Linux Workstation
I am selling my work station that I spent several years building up. It is a pretty hefty little system considering what all is in it but since I got my Dell laptop I haven’t used it at all really. Sad I know. The processor is not the fastest that is available but all of the other hardware surrounding it is extremely cool and up-to-date still.
